HI Abi, A lot of girls bring other girls to their sorority events... it's not necessarily because of sexual orientation, but it is because they'd rather have fun with a good friend and maybe dont have a "date" or member of the opposite sex to bring.
Speaking as someone from your sorority specifically, we all love you and care about you and dont look at you as someone who is different AT ALL. I wish that you could see that as well. We love you and embrace you for who you are, not what sexuality you are or who you may consider attractive.
I really hope that you realize that no one has changed their opinions about you from the first day they met you before they knew about your sexuality or background ... they love you just as much as they did that first day. Sisters do not discriminate based on sexuality.
I think that if you sat down with some of the girls in the house you'd realize all of this. Maybe sometimes there is a miscommunication and you might think that someone is either judging you or looking at you in a different light, but they really are not.
please take this note seriously, and please reconsider the way you view your sisters who love you !!!
I happen to be taking a girl to formal too as a friend... It is not atypical to bring a friend to formal instead of a date don't worry!
