The Closet

The closet is for people
who are not ready to see the world...
or rather
who are not ready for the world to see them.
The closet is a sanctuary 
a safe place
but it's filled with fear at times.
Bein in the closet
one has little room
and it in such a position
in which two things are visible.
One being the skeleton
        the skeleton of the truth.
The other is the key hole
        in which the world is visible.
Because you can see the world
        the cruelty and kindness
the reasons to fear
        and reasons to trust.
The closet remains closed
        until you have the courage
                      to believe there is more reason to trust
                      than more reason to fear the cruelty.
It is up to you to see this.
